IKEI advises BeClever shareholders on its sale to Devoteam group

With an extensive experience in managing M&A transactions, IKEI has assisted BeClever's ownership in the identification, negotiation and closing of the company's sale transaction, acting as financial and legal advisor.

Devoteam, a leading European company in digital consulting and technology platforms for companies, strengthens its services in Cybersecurity with the acquisition of BeClever, an IT services company specialized in providing cybersecurity solutions around the management and protection of digital identity (IAM).

Founded in 2011 in Bilbao, BeClever, specializing in identity-based security solutions, provides expert services around access management (AM), privileged account protection (PAM), as well as identity governance and administration (IGA). That level of technical specialization is one of the reasons that has led the European group Devoteam to bet on the company and expand the services they already provided in cybersecurity, being the ultimate goal to become one of the main players in this field on the Spanish market.

This acquisition is part of the Devoteam Group's strategic plan, which aims to reach 1.5 billion euros in revenues by 2024. In this line, it has decided to continue growing in Spain organically and inorganically. In fact, this latest operation preceded by the acquisition of Necsia earlier this year (with which Devoteam strengthened its Microsoft services) and previously with the integrations of New Bic, Power Data, Binima and Nubalia, reinforced capabilities around data, processes and the cloud. After acquisition of BeClever, Devoteam will now have 900 employees in Spain.
