Iñigo Isusi

Iñigo Isusi has a degree in Economics and Business Studies from the University of the Basque Country -Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea and an MSc in Regional Planning from the University of Wales (United Kingdom), and has completed various specialisation courses in the University of Leuven (Belgium).

After a period as an associate professor at the University of the Basque Country-Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, he went on to develop his professional career in IKEI.

He has over 25 years of extensive experience in socioeconomic research and consultancy work, in particular in the areas of employment and working conditions, education and training, SMEs and entrepreneurship and regional development, among others. He has worked as a consultant for a wide range of Basque, Spanish and international organisations, including various Directorates-General of the European Commission, the Inter-American Development Bank, the OECD and various European agencies (CEDEFOP, the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions and the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work).

Finally, it is also worth noting that at various stages of his career, Iñigo Isusi has combined his work in IKEI with teaching activities at the Centre for Commercial Studies Foundation (ICEX- CECO), the Basque Country’s Marketing Institute and summer courses at the University of the Basque Country-Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea.

He is currently a Partner of IKEI.
