Laura Gallo

Laura Gallo has a Degree in Sociology from the University of the Basque Country (1999) and a Diploma in Social Work from the University School of Social Work of San Sebastian (1994). She obtained her certificate of research proficiency from the doctorate course entitled "Globalisation, Development and International Cooperation" from the University of the Basque Country, with the thesis "Women and the labour market ". 

Before she joined IKEI in 2001, she worked in various social research companies and for a municipal development agency. She was also a visiting professor at the University of Deusto in San Sebastian until 209.

In IKEI she has accumulated more than 15 years of experience in projects mainly relating to the social sphere, housing, employment and equal opportunities. She has specialised in managing projects that combine collecting and analysing data through quantitative techniques (telephone and online surveys) with qualitative techniques (in-depth interviews and group dynamics), which help to ensure the participation of all actors involved. She also incorporates the gender perspective into all phases of the project (design and management).

She is currently a Partner of IKEI.
