Luis Villanueva

Managing Partner

Luis Villanueva has a degree in Industrial Engineering (majoring in business organisation and administration) from the School of Engineering at the University of Navarra; EFA (European Financial Advisor) from UNED.

He started his professional career in 1998 as a management consultant in ANDERSEN CONSULTING (now ACCENTURE). During this period (1998 - 2003), he was involved in projects relating to the design and implementation of integrated management systems, and projects aimed at optimising economic performance and the internal operations of various areas of business in industrial companies.

In 2003 he joined IKEI as a Senior Consultant and here, as an External Advisor, he has participated in numerous strategic planning processes for companies from different sectors (industrial, services, consumer products etc.) and geographical areas (Spain, Europe, Latin America), in business internationalisation projects, business organisation and administration optimisation projects (defining and implementing new organisational and management models), in domestic and international growth and expansion projects and diversification into other businesses, in corporate development operations (business integration processes [sale and purchase], concentration [mergers], post-operational processes, MBOs etc.) and in restructuring and corporate finance operations (feasibility plans, refinancing, IBRs, financial restructuring etc.).

He has accumulated extensive experience in the design and implementation of new business projects and partnerships, resulting from associative processes and business relations.

He is currently a Managing Partner of IKEI.
