Timoteo Pérez

Managing partner

Timoteo Pérez is an economist and has specialised in mathematical economics. 

Since he joined IKEI in 1998 he has completed sectoral and macroeconomic studies, and institutional, regional and business strategic planning studies. Since 1994, he has participated in projects related to the ENSR (European Observatory for SMEs, European Commission), with IKEI being the Spanish partner of that network. In that network he has also undertaken a number of major projects relating to Public Planning and Business Strategy. 

Since 2002 he has been a Managing Partner of IKEI, responsible for projects implemented by this company in Latin America, enabling him to head numerous international consulting projects financed by multilateral organisations: IDB-MIF, World Bank, European Union and CAF development bank. He has 35 years of experience in the field of consultancy, both in the public and private sectors, in particular in the areas of SMEs, business associations, professional associations, clusters and industry associations. 

He was a professor at the University of Deusto (San Sebastián campus) from 1994 to 2017, giving him more than 20 years of teaching experience. During this time, he has taught Operations Research in the Business Administration degree program and has been a professor in the MUDE (Master's Degree in Business Management) program, teaching the course "Analysis of the Economic Environment for Business Decision-Making". From an academic standpoint, he is an expert in Modeling and Strategic Planning for the Public and Private Sectors. 

Since 2023, he has been Director of the Public Sector Area at IKEI.
